Curriculum
The
following courses are currently offered at the ITFP: Advanced Web Page
Development, Advanced Programming Languages, Digital Video
and Media, Advanced Digital Video and Media, Digital Graphic
Design, 3D Digital Animation and Independent Computer Applications.
Two of our courses are part of an articulation agreement with Southeast
Community College. Students who satisfactorily complete the Advanced Web
Page Development course can receive credit for the following two SCC courses:
Web Page Fundamentals [INFO1431] and Internet Scripting [INFO1325].
Students who satisfactorily complete the Advanced Programming Languages
course can receive credit for the following two SCC courses: Visual
Basic [INFO2564]Program Design & Problem Solving [INFO1214].
Most
courses are open to 9-12th grade students. Courses will meet for
100 minutes each day for a semester. Students satisfactorily completing
a course will be awarded 10 credit points. Morning courses (AM)
meet from 7:35 - 9:15 daily. Afternoon courses
(PM) meet from 1:30 - 3:10 daily. Exceptions
to the daily schedule occur on Tuesdays (District PLC days). The
Tuesday schedule is as follows: 7:35 - 8:55 AM and 12:45 - 2:05 PM.
** Digital Video and Media is a pre-requisite for Advanced Digital Video and Media
Students may
