To
Apply Students choose to participate in ITFP courses based on an interest in technology. The ITFP staff seeks a diverse student population with a variety of skills and talents. It is not for any one type of talent, skill or interest. The ITFP exists to provide opportunities for high school students to develop advanced technology skills beyond those taught in the regular high school curriculum. However, it is also for students interested in using technology to: solve problems; work on a team; plan and think logically; take responsibility and make decisions; develop written and verbal communication skills; gather, process and publish information; and gain confidence in working with a wide variety of state-of-the-art hardware and software. The ITFP curriculum links many topics to technology, but is not limited to students who are pursuing a career in technology. The ITFP is a small learning community that includes and accommodates a variety of learning styles and abilities. The course offerings for the 2010-11 school year are:
