What courses are offered
and how long do they meet?

- The curriculum
changes regularly to meet the needs/interests of the students. There
are plans to add a "Computer & Network Management" class
at a later date.
- To provide scheduling
flexibility, on-line courses may be made available.
- Courses meet for
100 minutes each day for a semester. Students satisfactorily completing
a course will be awarded 10 credit points.
What days do
students attend the ITFP?
- The LPS student
calendar is followed. Classes meet Monday through Friday. Each class
lasts 100 minutes, allowing students to attend their home high school
the majority of the day. When school is canceled or dismissed for Lincoln
Public Schools, it is dismissed at the ITFP.
How do students
register for ITFP courses?
Students may:-
download registration
and recommendation forms from our website;
- call 436-1776 and request the forms;
- or request forms from their guidance
counselor's office.
How do the home
school and the ITFP work together?
- Students are
still considered students of their home schools and participate in the
activities, special events, club days, and graduation from those individual
schools. Students maintain their high school guidance counselors at
their home schools.
